Seen at the airport

I had to take a colleague to the airport last weekend and noticed something interesting as we pulled into the parking garage:


This sign shows how many free spots are available on each level, and each aisle on each level has its own indicator of how many spaces are available on that aisle. Each parking spot has a sensor installed above it to detect when the space is occupied. Very clever.

The Brussles terminal is currently under construction, and as we walked into the terminal we noticed a construction worker struggling to carry a very large pipe:


Not something likely to be seen in the States.
