On the back end, however, packing and preparing to go home was a challenge. We actually had to do a packing dry-run because we were unsure if we were going to be able to get all our luggage into our car. If we couldn't, we had the plan of D taking me to the train with a couple of bags and then he would drive up, drop the car off and I would meet him at the airport. Needless to say, this was not an option we were excited to exercise. Thankfully, D channeled our good friend Ryan, who is an absolute genius at packing and using all available space, was able to get it all in - just BARELY. Needless to say, we prayed for God's protection as we drove to the airport, since we had little ability to see out the windows.
Even the front seat was packed with luggage. If you can tell, I have carry-on luggage on my lap, between my feet and a lunch bag in between us. Whew. Next time we come back, in May, we have GOT to pack lighter in weight and amount.

Wow, you're wedged in like puzzle pieces. I bet it was not fun dealing with this at the airport, either!
